Rick developed his passion for cars in high school while working on his MK2 Jetta 16V. After high school, he managed a mobile electronics shop for 6 years before attending Universal Technical Institute, graduating with a 4.0 GPA in Automotive Technology. He worked at VW and Audi dealerships over the following 4 years. From there he joined Auto Engineering in 2009, eventually buying the business in 2018. He is actively involved in ongoing shop improvements to provide the best customer experience. His passion for cars continues and he regularly attends car shows in his B7 Audi RS4, his MK4 GTI 337, and posts on VW and Audi forums. Jim has an entrepreneurial spirit who is one of the new co-owners of Auto Engineering. He spends many evenings and weekends at the shop helping with many of the ongoing improvements to provide the best customer experience. During his days, he is an actively practicing local physician.

Emil joined Auto Engineering in 2019 after working at Turner Motorsport for 4 years. Unlike most automotive technicians, he received his Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from RIT. He has worked in several sectors of the auto industry, but his true passion and skill set lie with modifying and repairing BMW’s. Whether its fabricating carbon components for a race car build, or performing the rod bearing replacement on your S85 motor – Emil has the attention to detail required to get an amazing result!
